At Trinity Counseling Ministries, quality care is not a luxury. We provide PhD-supervised, evidence-based counseling across a broad range of needs — from individual support to family therapy to specialized play therapy for children in Mission Viejo and throughout Southern Orange County. Our sliding-scale fees ensure that wherever you are financially, there is a path forward.
We serve individuals from age five through adulthood, with a particular focus on women, couples, and families across Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, San Juan Capistrano, and the wider Southern Orange County area.
Fees are reviewed in your initial intake meeting and are based on your individual financial situation. We will work with you to find a fee that is sustainable.
Clients receive intensive, personalized attention from both their therapist and the PhD supervisor. This model allows us to provide clinical-quality care at a significantly reduced cost to you.
Our counseling model begins with a request to Dr. Amanda Wood. Based on that initial conversation, each client is thoughtfully paired with a therapist trained in the disciplines best suited to their specific needs.
One-on-one counseling for adults, teens, and children in Mission Viejo navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more. Our therapists create a space where you can process what is happening beneath the surface and begin to build the life you want.
Marriage and relationship counseling for couples at any stage — whether you are in crisis, working through recurring conflict, or wanting to build a stronger foundation. We believe deeply in the possibility of restored relationships.
Family systems shape us profoundly. Our family therapy approach works to heal relational wounds, improve communication, and rebuild trust — supporting every member of the family as part of a larger whole.
Children carry pain too. They just express it differently. Our specialized play therapy program provides a developmentally appropriate, expert-guided space for children ages 5 and up to process their experiences, build emotional vocabulary, and find healing. This is one of our most distinct and valued offerings in Southern Orange County.
Many of our clients carry the weight of unresolved trauma — whether from childhood, relationships, or unexpected loss. Our therapists are trained in evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches that create safety and support lasting change.
Grief is not linear, and it does not resolve on a schedule. We meet clients wherever they are in their grieving process and walk alongside them with patience, compassion, and clinical expertise.
